This house from a barn, found in Switzerland, was about to be demolished, but the current owner bought it in order to preserve it and convert it to a country house. A modest residence is represented by two floors, the first, for a daily time, and the second – two compact bedrooms and a bathroom. Dark wooden house demanded better lit, so the first thing the architects added a window as large as possible and replace the conventional door glass. Internal trim is also quite simple and is made of larch wood. Used for space heating, geothermal heat pumps and solar collectors. This inconspicuous wooden house in the mountains is not only self-sufficient and safe for the natural environment, but also equipped with all necessary facilities for temporary accommodation.
