Spanish Pavilion

Spanish architectural studio Pulgon Diseno designed a spanish pavilion for the exhibition Floriade 2012, held in Venlo (the Netherlands). Drawing attention, bright exhibition demonstrates the diversity and richness of natural organic materials that are used again, saving the planet’s resources. The pavilion is designed to promote the concept of sustainable construction and design. The architecture of the building creates a continuity of exhibit space, bringing together all the available surface. The structure appears literally out of the ground, rising to invite visitors into the inner space of the exhibition. Among the natural materials, the exhibition demonstrates the wide range of materials and coatings from recycled products: wood from used boxes, various boards, beams and railway sleepers, walnut shell and other remnants of the agricultural industry.
