Oval architecture – Maggie’s Center
British architectural studio CZWG Architects built Maggie’s Center (an “oval architecture”) – a unique cancer center on the hospital campus Nottingham (UK). The center is part of a program to combat cancer. The building, constructed on an area of 360 square meters, was placed between the Department of Oncology and Chair of the group, which has been studying breast cancer. Centre aims to become a comfortable place to care for cancer patients. The building with the “oval” architecture is protected by foliage. The internal plan assumes smooth transition space from one zone to another. With the creativity of the authors of the project can be found by visiting the official website of the architectural studio based in London.
